Bigby Little Library is located at the front of the Village Hall. Both residents and passersby are invited to deposit books they've finished with and to choose a book to read. Excess books are stored in the Village Hall and are sorted on a regular basis When the store is full, books are donated to the Oxfam Bookstore in Brigg. Users speak highly of this service and non-residents often drive through the village to browse the library.
In the current Coronavirus pandemic, we ask that care is taken with books removed - perhaps placing them in 'quarantine' for a few days before reading them.
